Logical Interfaces Health Check Results
The Logical Interfaces accordion displays the components that are related to the logical interfaces on the PE devices that the VPN services span through.
To access the Logical Interfaces accordion:
Navigate to the Orchestration > Instances > Service Instances page.
Select a service instance and click the service-instance-name hyperlink to access the Service-Instance-Name Details page
Click the Passive Assurance tab.
Click and expand the Logical Interfaces accordion.
Table 1 lists the fields in the Logical Interfaces table.
To view details of health check results for logical interface operational status, click any hyperlinked entry in the Logical Interfaces table to open the corresponding accordion on the Logical Interfaces Details for service-instance-name page.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Device Name | Name of the PE device associated with the logical interface. The logical or virtual interface is created on a physical interface of the device. |
Interface Name | Name of the physical interface on which the logical interface is created. For example, et-0/0/1. |
Sub Interface Index | Unique ID assigned to a subinterface or logical interface. For example, et-0/0/1.2, where et-0/0/1 is the physical interface name and 2 (after the decimal point) is the subinterface index. |
Operation Status | The operational status of the logical interface:

View Health Check Results for Logical Interface Operation Status
The Logical Interface Details for service-instance-name page displays the health check results for the operational status of the logical interface. You can view the name of the PE device, the name of the physical interface on which the logical interface is created, and the logical or subinterface index at the top of the page. The accordion heading displays the parameter name, alerts generated for the parameter, and a condensed view of the performance graph displaying the health and functioning of the parameter.
To view the health check results in detail, expand the accordion. The accordion displays the performance graph for the logical interface operation status. The x-axis on the performance graph displays the time for which information is displayed. The graph displays a line with clickable data points related to events that have occurred. The line color indicates the operation status (Up or Down) of the logical interface. A blue line indicates that the status is Up and active. A gray line indicates that the status is Down and inactive. Click any data point on the line to view more information about the corresponding event in a pop-up. For more information about performance graphs, see Performance Graphs to View Passive Assurance Monitoring Data.
The physical and subinterface or logical interface names are displayed to the left of the graph in the physical-interface-name : subinterface index format.
