CTP2000 XMC Module

The Quad-port Gigabit Ethernet Extended mezzanine card (XMC) is mounted on the CTP2000-PRC-04-S processor module and can be installed or replaced in the field. Two XMC slots are available in the processor’s front panel to support two compatible XMC modules. The following XMC modules are available:

  • CTP-FIBER-XMC-04 supports Four independent 1-gigabit SFP ports.

  • CTP-FIBER-XMC-04 supports XMC PCIe x4 Gen 2 interface.

  • Supported SFP modules are:

    • CTP-SFP-1GE-T: Small form-factor pluggable 1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet module (uses Cat 5 cable)

    • CTP-SFP-1GE-SX: Small form -factor pluggable 1000BASE- SX Gigabit Ethernet optic module

    • CTP-SFP-1GE-LX: Small form-factor pluggable 1000BASE-LX Gigabit Ethernet optic module

Note:

The PPF84 processor supports XMC module, and PP833 processor supports only PMC module.
