SRX300 Transceiver Specifications and Pinouts
SRX300 Transceiver Support
You can find information about the pluggable transceivers supported on your Juniper Networks device by using the Hardware Compatibility Tool. In addition to transceiver and connector type, the optical and cable characteristics—where applicable—are documented for each transceiver. The Hardware Compatibility Tool enables you to search by product, displaying all the transceivers supported on that device, or category, by interface speed or type. The list of supported transceivers for the SRX300 is located at https://apps.juniper.net/hct/product/#prd=SRX300.

Mini-USB Connector Pinouts for the SRX300 Firewall Console Port
The SRX300 Firewall has two console ports: an RJ-45 Ethernet port and a mini-USB Type-B port. If your management device (laptop or PC) does not have a DB-9 plug connector pin or an RJ-45 connector pin, you can connect your management device to the Mini-USB Type-B console port of the services gateway by using a cable that has a standard Type-A USB connector on one end and a Mini-USB Type-B (5-pin) connector on the other end. Table 3 describes the Mini-USB Type-B connector pinouts for the console port.
By design, the mini-USB console port has higher priority over the RJ-45 console port. If the mini-USB and RJ-45 console ports are both connected, then the mini-USB console port will be active.
Pin | Signal | Cable Color | Description |
---|---|---|---|
1 | VCC | Red | +5 VDC |
