Configuring PBS and Bridge Ports (CTPView)
Configuring a packet-bearing serial (PBS) interface allows you to connect a CTP device to an IP network through a serial interface. A port configured as a PBS interface uses static routes and does not participate in any routed protocol sessions, such as OSPF and RIP.
A port must be configured as either a circuit emulation port or a PBS interface or as a bridge port. The default is the circuit emulation port. You can configure a PBS interface or bridged ports from the CTPView web interface or from the CTP menu. This section describes how to configure PBS from CTPView.
If a port is configured as a PBS or bridge port, then all the bundles on that port is deleted.
