date_range 02-Apr-25

Marvis Conversational Interface (CI) enables you to get quick and relevant answers to your queries about Juniper Networks products and services.

For more information, see Marvis Conversational Interface Overview.

To search about Juniper products and services using Marvis CI:

  1. Log into Juniper Apstra Cloud Services.
  2. Click Marvis CI icon at the lower right corner of the UI.
Marvis CI panel appears at the lower right corner of the page.
  3. To start your conversation with Marvis CI, use the suggested prompt templates available under the Quick start section.

Click the prompt template that best suits your question.

The chatbox is populated with your selected prompt.

Complete the prompt with the relevant details and press Enter to get a response.

    Note:

These prompts are just suggestions and are not meant to limit what you can ask Marvis CI. As long as the questions are about Juniper products and services, there are no constraints to the range of questions you can ask Marvis CI.

Once a response is generated, the prompt suggestions disappear. To restore the suggestions, click +.

  4. If your question doesn't fit the suggested prompt templates, you can ignore them and enter your question directly in the chatbox.

Enter the search string or keyword that you want to look up. For example, "Juniper Apstra Cloud Services supported devices".

You can also enter questions and statements like you do in a normal conversation. In addition, you can ask follow-up questions and clarifications to refine the query and response.

For example, you can ask a general question like, “How to configure BGP?” and follow it up with a more specific question like, “How to do it on MX204?”.

Marvis CI generates response based on your query and contextual awareness.
You can also input error messages in the chatbox for assistance.
Marvis CI provides instant explanations, guides you through step-by-step troubleshooting process, and provide links to relevant documentation that can help resolve the issue.

Marvis CI also allows you to copy the query response, provide feedback about the responses, view citations, and reset the conversation.

An action toolbar appears at the end of each response, providing quick access to the following functions:
    • Copy to Clipboard—Click the copy icon to copy the content of your query, the generated response, and related citations to the clipboard.

    • Provide Feedback—Click the Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down icon to provide feedback on the response generated for your query.

The Marvis Feedback window appears, allowing you to select from predefined feedback options and add any additional comments.

Click Submit to submit your feedback.

      Note:

Before you submit, review your feedback carefully as you cannot reset or modify your feedback once submitted.

    • View Citations—Click the citations icon to view the list of sources on which the generated response is based. Click the citation links to explore the source materials.

    • Reset Conversation—Click the reset conversation icon to start a new conversation.

      Note:

Resetting the conversation clears your conversation history and starts a new session.

  5. You can close Marvis CI if your query is resolved, or continue the conversation if you have any follow-up queries.

Marvis CI provides suggestions for follow-up questions relevant to your query, similar to the example shown in Figure.

Click a question from the Related Questions section to populate it in the chat and continue the conversation.
  6. To start a new conversation, click Add (+).
