Download Set Configuration

As an administrator, you can download the complete list of set commands committed on the router in a TXT file. In the TXT file, you can easily view the configuration of the router using any text editor.

You can use the TXT file as a back up of the configuration to:

  • Troubleshoot configuration mismatch issues.

  • Restore the working configuration in the event of failures such as hardware failure and data corruption. You can restore the working configuration from the router's CLI.

To download a router's set configuration:

  1. On the Juniper Mist Routing Assurance application, click Routers.
  2. Click a router to open the Router:Router Name page.
    Note:

To access the tools in Utilities, the router must be in Connected state.

  3. From the Utilities drop-down list, select Download Set Config.
The Download Latest Set Config pop-up appears indicating that upload of the configuration file has started. If the upload is successful, the Save to File button appears in the same pop-up.
  4. Click Save to File.
The downloaded TXT file is saved on your computer.
    Note:

You will get an error message if the download of the set configuration is unsuccessful. You can retry downloading the configuration file if the download attempt fails.
