About the Software Images Page

Tasks You Can Perform

You can perform the following tasks from this page:

• View details of a software image—To view details of a software image, select the image name and click More > Details.

  The Image Details pane appears on the right side of the page. The pane displays two sections:

  • General—Displays the general information about the selected software image as listed in Table 1.

  • Checksums—Displays all the checksums associated with the selected software image. The Checksums section includes values obtained from MD5, SHA1, SHA256, and SHA512 algorithms.

• View the basic information as listed in Table 1.

  Click the Close (x) icon to close the Details pane.

• Upload a software image; see Upload a Software Image.

• Delete a software image; see Delete a Software Image.

• You can also perform the following tasks on this page:

  • Sort, resize, or re-arrange columns in a table (grid).

  • Show or hide columns in the table or reset page preferences, using the vertical ellipsis menu.

  • Search by using keywords—Click the search icon (magnifying glass), enter the search term in the text box, and press Enter. The search results are displayed on the same page.

  • Filter the data displayed in the table—Click the filter icon (funnel) and select whether you want to show or hide advanced filters. You can then add or remove filter criteria, save criteria as a filter, apply or clear filters, and so on. The filtered results are displayed on the same page.

Note:

Currently, the filter option is not supported in Size, Description, Checksum, and Release Notes columns.

Field Descriptions

Table 1 displays the fields on the Software Images page.

Table 1: Fields on the Software Images Page

Field	Description
Image Name	Name of the software image file. For example, junos-evo-install-acx-f-x86-64-22.1R3.12-EVO.iso.
Version	Version number of the OS. Version number indicates the major software update that is released every quarter of a year. For example, Junos OS Evolved 23.1.
Release	Release number of the OS. Release number indicates the minor software update that addresses bugs and performance issues within a version. For example, Junos OS Evolved 22.3R2.
Vendor	Vendor of the device. Paragon Automation supports devices from Juniper Networks and Cisco Systems. See Supported Devices and OS Versions for a complete list of devices supported by Paragon Automation.
Device series	Device model. For example, ACX 7509, ACX 7100. For the list of devices that Paragon Automation supports, see Supported Devices and OS Versions.
Created By	User who uploaded the software image file.
Last modified	Date and time when the software image file was uploaded. The timestamp is displayed in the following format: Month DD, YYYY, HH:MM:SS AM/PM TIME ZONE. For example, June 14, 2023, 4:29:52 PM IST.
Size	Size of the software image.
Managed by	Type of user who manages the image file. The software images available in an organization are uploaded by either superusers or network administrators. For example: 'Org' when uploaded by a Super User or Network Admin of an organization.
Description	Description of the software image.
Checksum	Expected SHA256 checksum to validate the uploaded data. The images and their SHA256 checksum can be obtained from the Juniper Software Download page.
Release Notes	Click the link to view the release notes for the software image that you uploaded.
