Publishing IPsec VPNs

Note:

A check box, Disable host inbound services is provided under Modify Application Settings for Security Director, to enable or disable the host inbound configurations to be generated as part of the VPN configuration. When you select the check box, the host inbound traffic is not displayed in the view configuration page.

To publish an IPsec VPN:

Select Configure > IPSec VPN > IPSec VPNs.
Select the VPN that you want to publish and click Publish. The Publish Policy page appears.
Select the check boxes next to the devices to which the policy changes will be published.
Note:
You can search for a specific device on which the VPN is published by entering the search criteria in the search field in the top-right corner of the Services page. You can search the devices by their name, IP address, or the device OS version.

Note:
If the VPN is to be published on a large number of devices, the devices are displayed across multiple pages. You can use the pagination and display options available on the lower ribbon, just below the list of devices, to view all devices on which the VPN is published.
Select Schedule at a later time if you want to schedule and publish the configuration later.
Select Run now if you want to apply the configuration immediately.
Click Publish. The Affected Devices page displays the devices on which the VPN will be published.
