local-address (Junos Telemetry Interface)

Hierarchy Level

Description
For legacy gRPC dialout connections, configure the local IPv4 or IPv6 address in an export profile.
Configuring the local address lets you bypass the current default way of addressing, which is that the outgoing interface IP address is used as the source address. You can configure the local address to be your router's specified IP address, interface address, or a loopback address.
You can only configure an IPv6 address as the local address for legacy remote procedure
call (gRPC) dial-out connections,. If you try to commit the configuration with an export
profile that contains transport
type as udp
instead of
grpc
an error is displayed.
