Description

For legacy gRPC dialout connections, configure the local IPv4 or IPv6 address in an export profile. You can only configure the local address in an export profile for legacy remote procedure call (gRPC) dial-out connections. An error is raised if the address configured as the local address is used for User Datagram Protocol (UDP) transport.

Configuring the local address lets you bypass the current default way of addressing, which is that the outgoing interface IP address is used as the source address. You can configure the local address to be your router's specified IP address, interface address, or a loopback address.
