Description

Display information about multicast virtual private network (MVPN) instances.

Options

logical-system (all | logical-system-name)

(Optional) Perform this operation on all logical systems or on a particular logical system.

Required Privilege Level

Output Fields

Table 1 describes the output fields for the show pim mvpn command. Output fields are listed in the approximate order in which they appear.

Name of the routing instance.

VPN-Group

Multicast group address configured for the default multicast distribution tree.

Mode

Mode the tunnel is operating in: PIM-MVPN, NGEN-MVPN, NGEN-TRANSITION or None.

Tunnel

Type of tunnel: PIM-SSM, PIM-SM, NGEN PMSI, or None (VRF-only).

If NGEN-PMSI is displayed, enter the show mvpn instance command for more information.
