Syntax

request chassis sfm (offline | online | restart) slot slot-number

Description

(M40e and M160 routers only) Control the operation of the specified Switching and Forwarding Module (SFM).

Options

offline

Take the SFM offline.

online

Bring the SFM online.

restart

Restart the SFM.

slot slot-number

SFM slot number. Replace slot-number with a value from 0 through 3.

Required Privilege Level

maintenance

Output Fields

When you enter this command, you are provided feedback on the status of your request.
