password (MAC RADIUS Authentication)

Description

Configure a global password to be used as the password (instead of the MAC address) for all sessions that use MAC RADIUS authentication. Use of a global password is supported on all three MAC RADIUS-based authentication protocols (̌eap-md5, eap-peap, pap).

Note:

When enabled (or disabled), currently active dot1x sessions are not affected. MAC RADIUS authentication will use the configured password from the time of reauthentication.

Disabled.

Options

password-string

Authentication password.

Password can be between 1 and 128 characters in length.

Password can include most character classes (uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, punctuation marks, and other special characters), excluding space.
