Description

Advertise that the device is able to support flow-aware transport (FAT) labels for EVPN-MPLS E- LAN services. With FAT flow labels, you can load balance MPLS packets across equal-cost multipath (ECMP) paths or link aggregation groups (LAGs) without the need for deep packet inspection of the payload. RFC 6391 describes FAT flow labels and how they are used.

Note:

Starting in Junos OS Evolved Release 24.4R1, we support flow-label configuration with egress link protection (ELP) on Junos OS Evolved platforms.
