Syntax

Description

(QFabric systems only) Save a copy of the current QFabric system configuration file and the current software package for recovery purposes. You can use these saved files to restore your QFabric system to full operation after a system failure or shutdown.

Options

none

Copy the QFabric system software package and system configuration file to a Director group recovery directory.

Note:

If this command fails, insert a Juniper Networks software installation USB flash drive into the primary Director device and issue the request system software format-qfabric-backup command. For more details about this prerequisite procedure that is required before you can use the QFabric system backup and recovery feature, see Performing System Backup and Recovery for a QFabric System.

usb-create

Copy the QFabric system software package and system configuration file from the Director group recovery directory to a USB flash drive. When the files have been copied, you can use the USB flash drive to help your QFabric system recover from a failure condition.

Note:

You must issue the request system software system-backup command (which saves the files to the Director group) before you can issue the request system software system-backup usb-create command.
