Description
For the relay-agent-interface-id
statement,
specify that in dual-stack environments, the DHCPv6 relay agent uses
an Interface-ID option (option 18) that is based on the DHCPv4 relay
agent information option (option 82). When you include this statement,
the DHCPv6 relay agent checks for the option 82 Agent Circuit-ID suboption
(suboption 1) and inserts it into the outgoing RELAY-FORW message.
For the relay-agent-remote-id
statement, specify
that in dual-stack environments, the DHCPv6 relay agent uses a Remote-ID
option (option 37) that is based on the DHCPv4 relay agent information
option (option 82). When you include this statement, the DHCPv6 relay
agent checks for the option 82 Remote-ID suboption (suboption 2) and
inserts it into the outgoing RELAY-FORW message.
