Description

Display the context identifier information processed and advertised by Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) for egress protection.

Options

none

Display information about all context identifiers.

brief | detail

(Optional) Display the specified level of output.

area area-id

(Optional) Display information about the context identifier for the specified area.

context-id

(Optional) Display information about the specified context identifier.

instance instance-name

(Optional) Display information about the context identifier for the specified routing instance.

logical-system (all | logical-system-name)

(Optional) Perform this operation on all logical systems or on a particular logical system.

Output Fields

Table 1 lists the output fields for the show ospf context-identifier command. Output fields are listed in the approximate order in which they appear.

IPv4 address that defines a protection pair. The context is manually configured on both primary and protector provider edge (PE) devices.

State of the path: active or inactive.

Advertised OSPF metric.

Other Advertisements

Other advertisements received by the OSPF node:

  • Advertising router– Address of the device that sent the advertisement.

  • Type–Type of OSPF path: inter-area and stub.

  • Metric–Advertised OSPF metric.

  • None–No additional advertisements were received by the OSPF node.
