Description
Disable DHCP snooping for the specified VLAN or bridge domain.
Explicitly disabling DHCP snooping also disables any other port security features
that you have enabled under [edit vlans vlan-name forwarding-options
dhcp-security]
, including dynamic ARP inspection (DAI) and IP source guard for the specified
VLAN or bridge domain.
There is no configuration statement that explicitly enables DHCP snooping.
Default
DHCP snooping is not enabled.
Junos OS for EX Series switches with support for the Enhanced Layer 2 Software (ELS) configuration style and MX Series routers do not have a configuration statement that explicitly enables DHCP snooping.
DHCP snooping is enabled automatically by Junos OS if any of the following is configured
at the [edit vlans vlan-name forwarding-options dhcp-security]
hierarchy level for EX Series and QFX Series switches or at the [edit bridge-domains bridge-domain-name forwarding-options dhcp-security]
for MX Series routers:
DAI
IP source guard
Static IP
DHCP option 82
