phase-lock-threshold

date_range 21-Aug-24

Syntax

content_copy zoom_out_map
phase-lock-threshold phase-offset

Hierarchy Level

content_copy zoom_out_map
[edit protocols ptp]

Description

The phase lock threshold option controls the maximum phase offset with which G.8275.2 enhanced servo enters the phase-aligned state. Phase locking with a higher phase lock threshold leads to the servo and time receiver getting into the phase-aligned state quickly. This higher offset is subsequently adjusted in the phase-aligned state. This option can be used for PTP applications which do not demand the strict requirements that are typically needed in the case of telecom applications.

Options

phase-offset

The maximum phase offset value in nanoseconds (ns).

  • Range: 100 ns through 1000 ns

  • Default: 200 ns
