Description

Specify the maximum number of entries for unresolved next-hop addresses that can be added to the Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP) IPv6 neighbor discovery cache for an interface.

Default

  • 100,000 for M Series.

  • 75,000 for MX Series and QFX Series.

  • 20,000 for EX Series.

Options

nd6-new-hold-limit

Maximum number of new unresolved next-hop addresses that can be added to the IPv6 neighbor discovery cache.

  • Range: 1 through 2,000,000
