vrf-advertise-selective
Syntax
vrf-advertise-selective { family { inet-mvpn; inet6-mvpn; } }
Hierarchy Level
[edit logical-systems logical-system-name routing-instances routing-instance-name], [edit routing-instances routing-instance-name]
Description
Explicitly enable IPv4 or IPv6 MVPN routes to be advertised from the VRF instance while preventing all other route types from being advertised.
If you configure the vrf-advertise-selective
statement
without any of its options, the router or switch has the same behavior
as if you configured the no-vrf-advertise
statement. All
VPN routes are prevented from being advertised from a VRF routing
instance to the remote PE routers. This behavior is useful for hub-and-spoke
configurations, enabling you to configure a PE router to not advertise
VPN routes from the primary (hub) instance. Instead, these routes
are advertised from the secondary (downstream) instance.
The options are explained separately.
Required Privilege Level
routing—To view this statement in the configuration.
routing-control—To add this statement to the configuration.
