phase-adjust-threshold

date_range 19-Mar-24

Syntax

content_copy zoom_out_map
phase-adjust-threshold phase-offset

Hierarchy Level

content_copy zoom_out_map
[edit protocols ptp]

Description

The phase adjust threshold option is the maximum phase offset that will be adjusted by the G.8275.2 enhanced servo in a phase-aligned state. A higher phase adjust threshold permits a clock to tolerate phase offset changes because of higher network packet delay variation (PDV). This option can be used for PTP applications which do not demand the strict requirements that are typically needed in the case of telecom applications.

Options

phase-offset

The maximum phase offset value in nanoseconds (ns).

  • Range: 1100 ns through 100000 ns

  • Default: 1100 ns
