Description

In an EVPN-VXLAN fabric where DHCP relay is configured with integrated routing and bridging (IRB) interfaces on leaf devices, it is possible for DHCP Discover packets to be flooded across a VXLAN attached to an IRB. This scenario leads to multiple copies of DHCP packets flooded across the fabric. To counter this behavior, configure the no-dhcp-flood knob at the [edit interfaces irb unit <unit-number>] hierarchy.
