Syntax

unprotect (hierarchy | statement | identifier)

Description

Unprotect a protected hierarchy, configuration statement, or an identifier, so that it can be modified or deleted.

Options

hierarchy

(Optional) Unprotect a specific protected hierarchy.

statement

(Optional) Unprotect a specific protected statement.

identifier

(Optional) Unprotect a specific protected identifier.

Required Privilege Level

configure—To enter configuration mode, but other required privilege levels depend on where the statement is located in the configuration hierarchy.

Release Information

Command introduced in Junos OS Release 11.2.
