Description

Configure flow sample inputs.

Options

ae-parent-index

Configure to send aggregated Ethernet parent index to an sFlow datagram.

When you configure sFlow, a sampled packet is captured from the traffic stream and the packet details are added to an sFlow datagram. This datagram contains information such as source IP, destination IP, ingress SNMP index, and egress SNMP index of the respective interface.

sFlow is not supported on aggregated Ethernet bundles but you can configure sFlow on any child interface of an aggregated Ethernet interface. When you configure flow-sample ae-parent-index, the sFlow datagram includes the SNMP index of the parent aggregated Ethernet interface instead of the child interface.
