activate <statement | identifier >

Description

Remove the inactive: tag from a statement, effectively adding the statement or identifier back to the configuration. Statements or identifiers that have been activated take effect when you next issue the commit command.

Options

identifier

Identifier from which you are removing the inactive tag. It must be an identifier at the current hierarchy level.

statement

Statement from which you are removing the inactive tag. It must be a statement at the current hierarchy level.

Required Privilege Level

configure—To enter configuration mode, but other required privilege levels depend on where the statement is located in the configuration hierarchy.

Release Information

Command introduced before Junos OS Release 7.4.
