Description
Configure a source interface for a Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) tunnel. You must provide the name of a logical interface configured on the loopback interface.
If you specify an IPv4 address (inet
option) as the VTEP
source address, the VXLAN tunnel endpoint (VTEP) encapsulates VXLAN
packets with an IPv4 outer header and tunnels the packets through an
IPv4 underlay network.
If you specify an IPv6 address (inet6
option) as the
VTEP source address, the VTEP encapsulates VXLAN packets with an
IPv6 outer header and tunnels the packets through an IPv6 underlay
network.
