Description
Test multicast forwarding on an interface without a receiver host.
The static statement simulates IGMP joins on a routing
device statically on an interface without any IGMP hosts. It is supported
for both IGMPv2 and IGMPv3 joins. This statement is especially useful
for testing multicast forwarding on an interface without a receiver
host.
Note:
To prevent joining too many groups accidentally, the static statement is not supported with the interface all statement.
